DynaStrip 6 now brings the user’s experience to new levels of conviviality and productivity. Easier imposition and enhanced flexibility are now synonyms of DynaStrip v6. See the new set of features an enhancements below to get acquainted to the v6.
Redesigned Works Styles
Work styles are now properties associated with the sheet definition dialogue. Users can choose amongst 5 work styles: Sheetwise, Perfecting, Simplex, Work & Turn and Work & Tumble.
The Work & Turn and Work & Tumble styles now have a new display and a new behavior. Since the front and back of the sheet use the same plate, the display will only show the front of the sheet with the complete signature. The flipping axis is also displayed, for these styles, as a solid line, with a half signature on each side.
Users now gain time when imposing with these styles: they only need to create and paginate a half signature and the other half will be automatically generated. Job ganging using these work styles is also much faster.
Layout Reflow
This production enhancer will greatly simplify operations when comes the time to apply new parameters to the project, such as signatures, document pages, marks, etc. Last minute modifications that impact the entire project will be performed in a single click.
In conjunction with the imposition index contents or the pagination sequence definition, along with the pagination algorithm, the reflowing of the layout will detect changes needed to the project and even suggest a Work & Turn position in case signatures and documents don’t have the same page count.

Automation Module Released for inpO2

inpO2 Automation is based on one or many hot folders defined with the Automation Manager. Each active hot folder is instructed, via a Wizard preset and an output configuration preset, on how to process the imposition job.
When inpO2 Automation is activated, the automated imposition process will be triggered by simply placing a source pdf document in one of the active hot folders. Many production workflows can be configured to generate various types of jobs: step & repeat, cut & stack, saddle-stitched, etc.
Imposition schemes change dynamically based on the page size and amount of pages in the PDF!

Packaging Application Support:
New options within the DigiPage workflow solution, with easy configuration from a setup window, allow DigiPage to better integrate into packaging environments where nesting and step-and-repeat of image elements are required. DigiPage is uniquely adept in this environment, since oddly shaped image elements can be nested for maximum use of space. And since the image is pre-RIPped, final output is a much less complex job for the workflow. The RIP needs only to stitch together the pre-RIPped elements, and it doesn't need to interpret and render each graphic in the design. In addition, since each DigiPage can contain up to 16 separations, special-color and multi-color jobs are a snap.
Improved Dot-Proofing:
The DigiPage ROOM workflow RIPs individual pages up front and creates proofs from the actual high-resolution plate separations, so proofing accuracy is 100% guaranteed. Now, with improved algorithms and higher-resolution limits, even more accurate dot proofing of page data for inkjet or soft proofs can be achieved. While DigiPage has always rendered press-accurate proofs, these improvements provide for even better fidelity and color matching with the press output.

Dynagram Releases DynaStrip 5.3

New variables for the customisation of output file names have been added to the existing set, for a total of 14 variables.
Enhanced User Experience: DynaStrip 5.3 significantly enhances user experience when working on the virtual light table. These enhancements aim at more efficiency by reducing the number of clicks needed for the layout creation (Example: New ‘’undo’’ function).
Closer Integration with Workflow Systems (Agfa Apogee Prepress, Rampage Systems & EskoArtwork Odystar).

inpO2 v3.0 released, along with new Optimization and Planning Modules.

Version 3.0 introduces a new product configuration. Editions and modules are now available to create a solution that fits the needs of commercial printers, large and small.
There are two basic product editions. inpO2 ATOM is a scaled-down edition of inpO2. It allows extensive control and room to grow with its easy upgrade path. inpO2 is the full-featured edition. This product edition includes features that are not available in inpO2 ATOM, the entry-level edition, such as the Assembly Manager, which is used to create complex impositions, ink remapping, custom mark sets, JDF output, network licensing and more.
In addition to the two main editions, tree modules are available to enhance the imposition capabilities.
- The Optimization Module allows the user to drag and drop jobs into the optimization module interface, enter the desired product quantity, and select your target output press to obtain an automatic ganging. There are no limits on number of jobs that can be optimized. This module is available in addition to the ATOM edition and it is directly included in the inpO2 edition.
- The Planning Module offers the possibility to profile your presses and paper stocks to quickly change from one set-up to another with instant feedback on press-run length and waste! Share your planning layouts with production for final imposition using the same inpO2 product.
- The Web Press Module allows the creation of complex layouts for single web, half web, multi-web, come and go or section stacking layouts with the inpO2 Web interface.
inpO2 version 3.0 will also introduce Check Points, a built-in monitoring system designed to alert the user to potential problems with their imposition layouts. Users will discover an enhanced user interface that allows for easy localization into any language. inpO2 version 3.0 is compatible with Adobe Acrobat 8.x, 9.x for MacOSX and Windows XP/Vista.
