TGLC Software appoint Crisp Digital as UK & Ireland Distributor!

New variables for the customisation of output file names have been added to the existing set, for a total of 14 variables.

Enhanced User Experience: DynaStrip 5.3 significantly enhances user experience when working on the virtual light table. These enhancements aim at more efficiency by reducing the number of clicks needed for the layout creation (Example: New ‘’undo’’ function).

Closer Integration with Workflow Systems (Agfa Apogee Prepress, Rampage Systems & EskoArtwork Odystar).

Version 3.0 introduces a new product configuration. Editions and modules are now available to create a solution that fits the needs of commercial printers, large and small.

There are two basic product editions. inpO2 ATOM is a scaled-down edition of inpO2. It allows extensive control and room to grow with its easy upgrade path. inpO2 is the full-featured edition. This product edition includes features that are not available in inpO2 ATOM, the entry-level edition, such as the Assembly Manager, which is used to create complex impositions, ink remapping, custom mark sets, JDF output, network licensing and more.

In addition to the two main editions, tree modules are available to enhance the imposition capabilities.

- The Optimization Module allows the user to drag and drop jobs into the optimization module interface, enter the desired product quantity, and select your target output press to obtain an automatic ganging. There are no limits on number of jobs that can be optimized. This module is available in addition to the ATOM edition and it is directly included in the inpO2 edition.

- The Planning Module offers the possibility to profile your presses and paper stocks to quickly change from one set-up to another with instant feedback on press-run length and waste! Share your planning layouts with production for final imposition using the same inpO2 product.

- The Web Press Module allows the creation of complex layouts for single web, half web, multi-web, come and go or section stacking layouts with the inpO2 Web interface.

inpO2 version 3.0 will also introduce Check Points, a built-in monitoring system designed to alert the user to potential problems with their imposition layouts. Users will discover an enhanced user interface that allows for easy localization into any language. inpO2 version 3.0 is compatible with Adobe Acrobat 8.x, 9.x for MacOSX and Windows XP/Vista.

Barcodes
DynaStrip 5.2 now supports different barcode standards for integration with post-press equipments.

New Option for Page Marks
A new option in the Pagination Sequence dialogue allows the page marks and page outline to follow the creep compensation adjustment or to remain static.

Automatic Colour Addition
A new option (Add all colours automatically to the color table) has been added to the Preferences dialogue to allow a complete automation of the insertion of source documents in DynaStrip. When this option is selected, all detected colours are automatically added to the colour table without warning the user.

Enhancements to DynaStrip Automationes.
New options now allow for automated deleting or moving input source document files to another location once the job has been processed and all flats are output. This clears up the hot folder which is then ready to receive new document files.

Dynagram have released version 7.3 of INposition, its QuarkXPress XTension. INposition, the only complete imposition tool for QuarkXPress users, INpositionnow runs natively on both Intel and PowerPC-based Mac processors (Universal Binary). INposition users can thus benefit from increased performance.

Plus, INposition 7.3 also offers new compatibility with latest systems and applications such as:
- Mac OS X 10.5 (Leopard)
- Adobe Acrobat 8.0
- Adobe InDesign CS3

DynaStrip JDF Import edition is dedicated to printers equipped with an MIS system and looking for overall JDF connectivity. This advanced JDF input capability is offered as an addition to the existing output module that is well known from DynaStrip customers who already send JDF imposition files to their JDF-enable RIP or workflow system. The new DynaStrip JDF Import edition now allows these printers to experience end to end JDF integration between processes.

DynaStrip JDF Import features a JDF input module that supports JDF Stripping parameters coming from any MIS or prepress workflow manager, including folding parameters from the JDF Fold Catalog. Many types of JDF workflow scenarios are now supported when importing data from a JDF file, based on a structured analysis of processes and resources described in the file. DynaStrip JDF Import is compliant with CIP4 MIS to Prepress (MISPRE) Interoperability Conformance Specification (ICS).

The brand new ATOM edition opens new possibilities for small to medium commercial or in-house printers looking for a powerful and intuitive, yet affordable, imposition solution for PDF. inpO2 ATOM allows for end-to-end PDF prepress workflow when coupled with a PDF-enabled RIP and it's built in Wizard walks you through the entire imposition process to create press-ready files. Fine-tuning those one off jobs can then be performed directly within Acrobat’s intuitive light-table interface.
