• Contains its own embedded PDF Profile. PitStop Server 08 knows whether this PDF Profile matches the PDF Profile used for your workflow's hot folder, allowing you to verify if the document creator has preflighted the file against your criteria before sending it to you.
• Knows whether it has been preflighted and what the result of that preflight was. This means re-preflighting can often be skipped for good files, leading to improved throughput times.
• Contains a history of all changes made to the file, allowing you to trace who made them, when they were made and what the changes were. If a Certified PDF file was changed after it had been preflighted, this is detected immediately.
• Has the option of rolling back to a previous version of the PDF using PitStop Professional. This means any changes you've made to a file at any stage can be undone - it's non-destructive editing for PDFs!
